Card Game Rules
Baccarat (or Punto Banco) is a casino game that can be played without technical skills. It was developed in France in the mid-19th century. Baccarat is a popular game that can be played at high stakes in most European and Nevadan casinos. Baccarat’s objective is to place a wager on the hand that you think will be closest to or equal to 9.

Rank of Cards
Baccarat has Aces, Face Cards and 10s. All other cards have a pip value of 0.
How to Play
Players must walk up to the Baccarat table and place bets on one of three outcomes: Your hand winning, the Banker’s hand winning, or a tie.
Player
You will get a payout of 1:3 if your hand wins. The house has an advantage of 1.24% over the player.
Banker
You will get a payout of 1:3 if you place a wager on the Banker’s winning hand. However, you must pay a 5% commission to the Banker on the winnings. The house has a 1.06% advantage over the player.
Tie
If you place a bet on a tie and you win, your payout will be 8:1 (sometimes 9;1). The house has a 14.36% advantage over the player, however.
When placing a bet, the dealer will draw 2 to 3 cards for each player and Banker. The hand closest to 9 wins.
A hand with more than 10 cards is subtracted. A hand of 8 and 5 equals 3 (13-10). The dealer and the player do not decide whether a third card will be drawn. That is determined by casino baccarat rules, as shown in the chart below.

The dealer then hands out the cards face-up to the players and bankers. The winner is the hand with the highest number of wins. If the hand of the player is closest to nine, your winnings will be double the amount you bet.
If the Banker’s hand wins, it will pay 95 percent of your wager.
A hand consisting of nine cards and seven cards would give you 16; the first digit is dropped, and the value of the game becomes six.
These are more rules that will help you win a baccarat match.
